So this is a very random poem inspired by some person 😀
I didn’t give it much thought, i don’t even know if it makes sense, but I thought to share it anyways.
__
He came alone,
Paddling a long sleek boat,
He had huge teeth for a smile,
The man with the big brown hat.
*
He had stopped to ask
How to get to the city ark,
I couldn’t tell, he was a stranger,
The man with the big brown hat.
*
One long look at him,
He professed his urgent need,
A sylph to bear him child,
The man with the big brown hat.
*
He had paddled night and day,
Oh what a big shame,
Do I tell him he took the wrong path,
The man with the big brown hat.
*
As I told him he had come the wrong way,
My eyes mirrored his dismay,
Then, he bared his face for the first time,
The man with the big brown hat.
*
What a pity, oh my,
He had the loveliest set of eyes,
I was swooned, oh my heart,
The man with the big brown hat.
*
Okay bye, he said and left,
He came alone like I said,
But during the little time I spared,
The man with the big brown hat now had my heart.
*
He lied, what a brute!
Nothing about him was true.
Not his eyes, nor his smile
The man with the big brown hat.
*
I was mad, and sad,
For the stranger had gone with my heart,
But lo, he returned in a flight,
The man with the big brown hat.
*
He had found in me,
What he seeked down the creeks
So he went on his kneels
The man with the big brown hat.
*
Be my wife,
Bear me child,
He cooed,
Oh my man with the hat.
*
I agreed,
Oh my bliss,
For I found happily ever after,
With the man with the big brown hat.
